Do you ever imagine what it would be like if more corporations and small businesses grew a heart?
You don’t have to imagine, we do have some pretty awesome examples!
My friend and DU Faculty Member, Ken Krell, recently heard DU Associate Dean, Jack Humphrey, and I on one of our mastermind calls. We were talking about the core of what DU teaches:
“DU teaches a model for SERVING while Strategically Monetizing.”
Jack then added:
“Think of it this way…
… Business as Serving. Not Selling.”
This conversation gave Ken Krell an idea for what has become “World Love Week” that gets started in just a few days. In fact, you can even participate in it for F.R’E,E at:
Ken just scored a gigantic guest post on Virgin.com (Yes, that one) talking about what it would be like if companies cared as much about treating customers like human beings as they do pro’fits.
It’s a great article. Really makes you think…
How much heart comes with our businesses?
I’m paying more attention to service now. That’s why we are writing more educational / informative stuff to you from today forward.
I want to do good in the world more than I want to make money (or anything else, for that matter).
And you know? Every time I do something good through my business, the business actually (ALWAYS) does better!
It’s a brilliant side effect of caring. Caring is also profitable.
Anyway, this is a good, short read:
Just know, with Ken writing for Virgin.com, we’re all one step closer to meeting Richard Branson.
And I know that’s on all of our bucket lists, right? lol

To Your Abundant Online Success,
“The JV Queen”
Dean & Founder, Directions University
P.S. As you probably know, I’m known as “The JV Queen” because of my years of experience brokering some of the biggest Joint Ventures on the internet. Just yesterday, I was able to broker a HUGE JV for World Love Week!
Ken Krell is creating the TotalPreneur Foundation. He’s on a mission to help refugees in war torn countries to start businesses. Well, it turns out, that’s also a goal of 10 Million Clicks For Peace, a non-profit that I’m an Honorary Co-Founder of.
There’s another non-profit that’s out there right this minute that’s actually DOING it! They are Global Brigades. This year alone, they have a number of Brigades taking place in places like Ghana that will provide micro-loans, resources, training and support for refugees to start businesses.
So, I brokered a deal between World Love Week, 10 Million Clicks For Peace, and Global Brigades that will allow up to 20% of the revenues generated from World Love Week to support this entrepreneurial cause!
Now that’s the kind of thing that businesses should be doing all over the planet! And DU and I want to make it a reality!
